A diving club is in danger of going bankrupt. To save the diving club, a female coach returns from the U.S. to coach the club and promises that a diver from the club will make the Japanese Olympic team.

Schoolgirl Lindsey Macallum aspires to be an Olympic diver and follows a strict training regime, but this goes out the window when her supportive father leaves home and her mother moves her new boyfriend in. Having trouble coping with her fractured home life, Lindsey sleeps with rebellious classmate Robert Wisley and becomes pregnant. Despite unsupportive parents but with sympathetic siblings, Lindsey and Robert face their futures together.

The crew of the nuclear submarine USS Ulysses rescues supposed victims of a boat disaster, but the victims turn out to be terrorists intent on capturing nuclear weapons aboard the sub. Only a former SEAL, now a submarine consultant, can save the crew by sliding aboard while the sub is underwater. The term "crash dive" refers to the sudden dropping of a sub to escape detection, an act that a nuclear sub is never supposed to make. Of course, it comes into play in this film.

Submarines Olly and Beth join their friend Bobsie, who is convinced he is the great-grandson of the Rainbow “Pie-Rats”, to search for the legendary secret treasure that reflects the beautiful rainbows in the sky. Their exciting treasure hunt is filled with wonder, comedy, thrills and adventure. But, they are followed by the unscrupulous Snarky Sharkskin and his slippery seahorse gang. As resourceful as ever, Olly and Beth manage to overcome all the problems they encounter, survive the storms at sea, make a heroic rescue, and find the glittering rainbow treasure. However, in the end, the treasure hunt leads them to understand that the best treasure of all is family and friendship.

Coach Yu Feng grooms four athletes to represent the school and turn the tide for the diving team. He finds Jiang Bailong, a former star of tomorrow in the diving world, Wei Te, an exchange student from Thailand, the newly-enrolled star athlete Lu Haoran and his partner Tian Lin.

In the morning's small hours, a police diver in search of evidence at a cold underwater crime scene makes a final effort to further investigate and goes for one last dive. The Chief wants to wrap it up in twenty minutes, however, what the diver is about to discover is utterly unexpected and fiendishly gruesome.
